A zoomed UAP clip can appear impressive while still being difficult to analyse. The missing piece is often not the target itself but the camera. If a pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) system changes direction, alters magnification or shifts its field of view during recording, those actions become part of the observed motion. Without a record of what the camera was doing, investigators cannot reliably separate target behaviour from sensor behaviour. This creates a common analytical problem. When a distant light appears to accelerate across a highly zoomed frame, there are at least three possibilities:
- The object moved.
- The camera moved.
- Both moved at the same time.
Without camera-motion records, those possibilities become difficult to untangle.

Which metadata makes the clip checkable
